WSET Level 3 Award in Wines

Vera Wine is proud to collaborate with The Prince Wine Store to bring The Wine and Spirits Education Trust to Newcastle.

The course is taught by Florence Diffey DipWSET who a certified WSET educator and co-owner of Vera Wine. The WSET courses are facilitated by the Prince Wine Store who are one of few Approved Program Providers of WSET in Australia.

DURATION

30 hours of tuition and a 2.5hr exam held over 10 weeks

15 x 2 hour sessions including:

9 x Monday evening sessions from 6-8pm and 2 x Saturday Intensives from 9:30am till 5pm

ASSESSMENT

A multiple choice paper of 50 questions: Pass Mark 55%

A short answer paper of four questions: Pass Mark 55%

A tasting examination: correctly identify two wines and produce a written analysis using the WSET Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting.
