Bondar 'Rayner' Grenache 2024

A supurbly elegant expression of McLaren Vale Grenache. From the organically farmed, dry grown, old vine Rayner Vineyard. This is picked early to retain acidity and freshness, and gains complexity and structure through clever, yet gentle, handling in the winery. Little bit of whole bunch, wild yeast ferment, fermented and aged in ceramic eggs and old french barrels. Resulting wine has aromas of sour and fresh red fruits, seville oranges, dried herbs and moreish, peppery tannins.
