Chateau de Meursault 'Clos du Chateau' Blanc 2022

Clos du Château is an 8-hectare monopole sitting directly in front of the historic Château de Meursault. Although more than one third of the vines lie within the Meursault appellation, the Domaine chooses to keep the vineyard intact, so the wine is labelled as Bourgogne. It is vinified with 25 percent new oak, the rest matured in second and third-use barrels for 12 months on fine lees.

With roots stretching back over a thousand years, Château de Meursault crafts Clos du Château from two prized parcels enclosed by stone walls, which give the site its name. The well-drained, gravelly soils produce a Bourgogne Blanc treated with the same level of care as the estate’s top Premier and Grand Cru wines, delivering a style that clearly reflects its quality terroir.
