Perfect conditions allowed the Chardonnay fruit to become optimal quality where head winemaker Emma Rice states the wine "practically made themselves". Expect citrus, apple and pastry on the nose and palate, with a fine mousse, searing acidity and persistent length. Five years of ageing on lees has resulted in a firm body and lots of pastry goodness.
