Oscar Hermann Merlot 2023

"It manages to mesh the concepts of medium weight, luncheon Claret and something a bit wilder edged. Supple, blueberry, cassis and black olive is married to wet, green herb characters, some turned earth and a lick of brick dust and game meat. It sloshes in the palate nicely, a good splash of merlot action with a fuzz of powdery tannin lending a little shape. A gluggable red of charisma results."
