Saumaize-Michelin 'Ampelopsis' Pouilly Fuisse 2020

This cuvée is a selection of barrels from four different terroirs. It is only produced in certain years and in small quantities. The wine went through a long ageing, from 20 to 22 months. 

“The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Ampelopsis, which was taken from a new concrete vat, has a wonderful bouquet that has more detail and precision than the previous vintage. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, less weight but more energy than the 2019, fine mineralité and what the French call "éclat" or brightness towards the finish.
