Mount Pleasant: Home of Australia’s greatest winemaker, Maurice O’Shea. Since its planting in the 1880s and when Maurice bought the Mount Pleasant Winery in 1921, its reputations has barely been dimmed.


In 2018 Adrian Sparks was appointed Chief Winemaker at Mount Pleasant and was also awarded the prestigious title of Winemaker of the Year in 2018, a title that is presented to those who have made significant promotion of not only their own wines, but the Hunter Valley as a whole.
