Tyrrell's Winemaker Selection Masterclass @ Vera Wine & Bar - July 7th, 2026

Join us at Vera Wine & Bar for a rare opportunity to explore one of Australia's most iconic wine producers alongside Tyrrell's Chief Winemaker, Andrew Spinaze.

For more than 165 years, Tyrrell's has helped define the Hunter Valley, crafting some of Australia's most celebrated and age-worthy wines. This special masterclass will take you through six wines that showcase the depth, history and evolution of the Tyrrell's portfolio, from world-class Semillon and Chardonnay through to the estate's benchmark red wines.

A highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to taste the remarkable 2021 release along side aged release of 2013 Vat 1 Semillon side-by-side, demonstrating why Hunter Valley Semillon remains one of the world's most unique and collectible wine styles. We'll also explore the acclaimed Vat 47 Chardonnay and compare the youthful energy of the newly released 2024 Vat 9 Shiraz against the complexity of the 2018 vintage.

Throughout the tasting, Andrew will share insights into the vineyards, vintages and winemaking decisions that have cemented Tyrrell's reputation as one of Australia's most respected wine estates.

• 2024 Vat 47 Chardonnay
• 2018 Vat 9 Shiraz
• 2024 Vat 9 Shiraz
• 2024 Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

A special Tyrrell's pre-order offer will be available exclusively to ticket holders, allowing guests to secure wines ahead of the event and collect them on the night.

Ticket holders will also receive access to special event pricing, with additional discounts available on multi-bottle purchases.

These wines are produced in limited quantities and allocations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
