Jean Foillard is one of the legendary Gang of Four, the pioneering Beaujolais vignerons who helped redefine the region and put its wines on the world stage. Inspired by the late Marcel Lapierre and the teachings of Jules Chauvet, Foillard championed a less interventionist approach, proving that Gamay could deliver extraordinary purity, complexity and age-worthiness.

Working from Morgon, his wines are celebrated for their vibrant fruit, floral aromatics, silky texture and unmistakable sense of place. The new releases showcase his remarkable touch, with the 2024 vintage offering a particularly fresh, elegant expression of Beaujolais.

From the iconic Côte du Py, with its depth and mineral structure, to the perfumed, lifted Corcelette and the rare, century-old-vine Cuvée 3.14, these are wines that capture everything that makes Foillard so revered.
