Camille Giroud Bourgogne Aligote 2023

This is from old Aligoté vines, on land that would be technically Pernand-Vergelesses if planted to Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. Farmed biodynamically, barrel-fermented and aged in larger barrels (400-600 litres), this was, as always, late to harvest. This year it has a tight and lemony edge. This has a most distinctive personality and is among the best Aligotés that we taste.
