Frank Cornelissen 'MunJebel' Bianco 2022

The MunJebel Bianco is a blend of Grecanico and Carricante grown on the north face of Mount Etna - “Munjebel” in local dialect. Four days on skins and a patient, hands-off élevage result in a wine that’s wild in spirit but impressively composed in execution. It’s richly textured and slightly oily, with notes of ginger, dried apricot, almond skin and fennel seed, all cut through by a line of volcanic minerality.
